Paul Grossinger

Angel Investor and Entrepreneur, Gaingels LLC

Paul Grossinger is a 27-year-old New York-based entrepreneur, angel investor and syndicator.

He is a founder of Gaingels, the first investment network backing LGBT founders which has led over $15mm of investment into 13 companies and four funds since inception in 2014. Gaingels has over 150 members worldwide, with chapters in NY, LA, DC and London.

He is also co-founder of Blue Jay, the first investment network backing Johns Hopkins alumni. Blue Jay has led or co-led investment of $3m in 7 companies since 2015. Additionally, he has backed over a dozen companies from Hopkins students and alumni as a GP at A-Level Capital. Paul teaches at Johns Hopkins during intersession.

As a private investor he has backed eight funds and 74 start ups. He is a senior advisor to early stage standouts such as Tradeit, Elemental Path and Emocha. As an entrepreneur he co-founded Pervasive Group and L&M Media.

Paul is also a philanthropist, serving as a board member for StartOut and Marriage Equality USA, an advisor for to Out in Tech and as a Trustee Scholarship Advisory Group member for Johns Hopkins.

A regular speaker and panellist, Paul has spoken for a wide range of organizations inlusing at events for Startout, Slush, International CES, Compass Fellowships and CTIA Wireless.

He writes regularly for Inc.com and is a graduate of Cololumbia University’s School of Journalism and the Johns Hopkins University.
