Coming to Startupfest

Montreal, Canada’s Cultural Capital, is second to none in the summertime. With unparalleled nightlife and the second highest number of restaurants per capita in North America, it’s clear why Montreal is considered the City of Festivals. There are at least 3 other major Festival running in tandem with Startupfest: the International Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs Festival and the International Fireworks Festival.

Bar and club hop along the cobblestone roads of one of North America’s oldest cities, while enjoying all the maple syrup and poutine your heart desires.

Getting to Startupfest

Over the past 5 years, Startupfest has been held in various unique locations throughout the Old Port of Montreal, and this year we’re back in the middle of the action. Startupfest 2016 will be in the heart of Montreal’s Old Port- on the esplanade in front of the Science Centre, between Rue de la Commune and the Promenade du Vieux-Port, and between the Quai Jacques-Cartier and the Quai King Edward. Our entirely outdoor venue is surrounded by cobblestone roads, and an unbeatable view of the St.Lawrence river.

Taxi or Ride-share

Ask to be dropped off as close as possible to the Montreal Science Center; on the corner of Boul. St-Laurent and Rue de la Commune.

By Car

There are parking lots near the venue on the Quai Alexandra and the Quai de l’Horloge. Enter your starting address to use the map.

By Public Transit

Taking the metro system is the easiest way to get to the venue by public transit. The two closest metro stations are Station Champ-de-Mars and Station Place d’Armes. From the stations, it’s an 8 and 10 minute walk, respectively.
