Coming to Startupfest

Montreal turns 375!

Montreal is the cultural capital of Canada, and as soon as you get here you’ll understand why. The city has an unbeatable festival vibe, and is second to none in the summertime, especially this year, as the city celebrates its 375th! As the city thaws, it becomes a vibrant, diverse, cultural hub and is North America’s number one host city for international events. Between the european charm, unparalleled nightlife, arts, culture, and world class restaurants- Montreal makes the perfect stomping grounds for Startupfest.

Bar and club hop along the cobblestone roads of one of North America’s oldest cities, while enjoying all the maple syrup and poutine your heart desires.

Getting to Startupfest

Over the past 6 years, Startupfest has been held in various unique locations throughout the Old Port of Montreal, and this year we’re back in the middle of the action. Startupfest 2017 will be in the heart of Montreal’s Old Port- on the esplanade in front of the Science Centre, between Rue de la Commune and the Promenade du Vieux-Port, and between the Quai Jacques-Cartier and the Quai King Edward. Our entirely outdoor venue is surrounded by cobblestone roads, and an unbeatable view of the St.Lawrence river.

Taxi or Ride-share

Ask to be dropped off as close as possible to the Montreal Science Center; on the corner of Boul. St-Laurent and Rue de la Commune.

By Car

There are parking lots near the venue on the Quai Alexandra and the Quai de l’Horloge. Enter your starting address to use the map.

By Public Transit

Taking the metro system is the easiest way to get to the venue by public transit. The two closest metro stations are Station Champ-de-Mars and Station Place d’Armes. From the stations, it’s an 8 and 10 minute walk, respectively.
From Place d’Armes and from Champ-de-Mars

Roadtrips to Montreal

Every year, people from around the world join us in Montreal for Startupfest- but those within driving distance manage to make the festival fun last even longer with organized road trips. It’s a great alternative to a pricey flight, or a long drive, solo. While the Fest offers amazing opportunities for startups to meet with seasoned vets, and investors from around the world, these road trips give the opportunity to build more connections within your own community! Check out the list of pre-organized road trips you can join. Don’t see your city on the list? Open your own trip with Bus.com!
